DONALD E. STAFFORD BIO
Don Stafford was a MAZ6R CLAN Admiralty Senior Staff Admiral/Deputy Commander/Compliance and Integrity Officer.
Don headed our compliance and integrity department because he was the perfect choice. With his high level of education, his commitment to education in general, his professional work experience, his problem-solving skills, and his compassion for every team member, there was no one we could trust more with this daunting task, especially since honor and integrity are the founding principles of MAZ6R. Don loved his team, and we loved him!
Don was also one of the four founding fathers of the MAZ6R CLAN UNITED FEDERATION OF CLANS (U.F.O.C.), and he held the additional rank and position of proconsul.

DON E. STAFFORD EULOGY
Don was a wonderful friend and mentor! I met Don in a computer game, World of Warships, when he requested to join the clan that I was managing a few years ago. We quickly became friends, speaking on the phone several times per week. During one of our conversations, Don graciously offered his services to assist me with my new endeavor to grow the new organization. Together, we developed the groundwork for great things to come that were not yet envisioned.
When the opportunity presented itself for me to start a new clan from the ground floor, I immediately called Don. He quickly agreed to join as our Admiral of Compliance and Integrity (which equates to a president's role.) MAZ6R CLAN is set up as a corporation, and Don, as our compliance and integrity officer, went to work immediately crafting pertinent documents for publication on our global website, www.mazda6redclan.com.
We shared long conversations, and one of our many topics was how we were going to build junior leadership, an endeavor in which we are both highly committed. Our conversations were not limited to business or politics. We shared personal matters, family, his students, mentoring each other, and utilizing our vast repertoires of experience. As for Don's students? He loved his students, and all of us in MAZ6R also became his students!
Don loved every one of us, and we loved him. Even more important, we respected him! Upon joining MAZ6R, he immediately took to mentoring our younger members, and he had a vision and a plan for success for everyone involved with our organization.
What a selfless individual! Don and I had so much in common, and not a day goes by that I don’t think about him. Everyone at MAZ6R misses Don, even members who never knew him, because they know about him through his legacy. Soon, we will be creating a 'celebration of life' video in our traditional MAZ6R manner to honor our fallen friend and brother. Sincerely, Thomas M. Grange, CEO and Fleet Admiral
