WELCOME TO OUR TONY LEWIS
CELEBRATION OF LIFE
JANUARY 16, 1945 - MARCH 15, 2025
We Proudly Present Our Farewell Salute to Our Fallen Friend and Comrade, Sergeant Tony Lewis, United States Army.
"Fallen But Not Forgotten, We Are MAZ6R; We Leave No One Behind!"
Tony Lewis was a MAZ6R core member, holding the rank of Rear Admiral. Due to his heroism during the Vietnam War, we honored and saluted him with the title of Fleet Commodore Warrior Ameritus, an actual title awarded to special heroes in the United States Navy. Tony loved his team, and we loved him.
Sergeant Tony Lewis, Tank Commander M60 Electric Fire, served in the United States Army 1st Infantry Division, known as ‘The Big Red One,’ during the Vietnam War. He was a decorated hero!
Tony served in the United States Army 1st Infantry Division, known as ‘The Big Red One,’ during the Vietnam War. He was a decorated war hero after two RPG rockets penetrated his 4-man M48 tank.
Tony was severely wounded by one of the two rockets. During his military service, he was awarded the Bronze Star for valor in combat and a Purple Heart. Serving our country and protecting our freedom brought Tony a lifetime of pain, but he never complained and cared for others more than his well-being.
Although he was always in pain, he often joked with me during phone calls and text messages about his mishaps and how getting older was not fun! Even though Tony was suffering, he always asked how everyone else and their families were doing. Tony inspired everyone who knew him, and we will never forget him!

VIDEO CEREMONY!
To honor our fallen comrade and friend, we choreographed a mock final battle with Tony’s favorite ship, the U.S.S. Kansas, as our fleet flagship, commanded by Tony's good friend, Admiral William Kirk. The ceremony includes Tony's eulogy, read by Fleet Admiral Thomas M. Grange, and a Western Union telegram, with the fleet orders of the day read by Admiral Carol Kirk.
Our tribute was recorded and is currently in our editing department. Once completed, the video will be available on this page, on the MAZ6R CLAN YouTube channel, and our Twitch channel.
Tony, all of us in MAZ6R CLAN will miss you and will never forget you! We honor you today with this symbolic battle.
