MAZ6R CLAN was founded on July 1, 2024. I started this new adventure after successfully building another clan as Deputy Commander. Karma shined on me when my teammates and friends from other clans asked me to start a new organization under my sole proprietorship. So, I created MAZ6R CLAN, and we started this new grand adventure.

This new adventure has allowed me, for the second time, to add another level of quality to my life by continuing the friendships we built over the past several years while adding new ones. The friendships we developed and the camaraderie that we shared in-game and personally, sharing ideas, stories, and life experiences as well as laughing and having fun together, have astounded me, and by creating this new organization, the fun continues.

Our new MAZ6R CLAN, hands down, is the best clan to be a part of in-game, as well as an exceptional avenue to develop and nurture new relationships on a global scale. Please join us!

PERSONAL MESSAGE FROM ADMIRAL WILLIAM KIRK

A thought for all: We are currently a 'balanced clan,' and our members participate in everything that WOWS offers, which is what is rewarded the most by the designers of this game. We need not be the best at everything, and every member may not participate in every type of event, but some do, which makes us very powerful.

The game also rewards steady clan participation. Also, WOWS rewards stability in clan personnel. It is not how many members you have; the mission is about finding quality members and solid players who add value to the clan, not members who derail it with a side movement or self-interest.

I have looked at the numbers, and in less than nine months from inception, we will surpass our former home with more to offer. Every member is doing exactly what we are all interested in: creating an organization that is fun and awesome to take part in.

This is a personal statement, but I am happy, proud, and confident that one year from today, this association will begin legendary status, and one year later, we will achieve that status and will proceed to become one of those clans people admire, never cease discussing, and want to duplicate.

This phrase was a testament to how my father and his men lived and is a tribute to the ‘Aces n' eights’ squadron. I have lived my life upholding their principles.

MAZ6R is managed professionally and structured utilizing corporate guidelines. We implemented a command hierarchy based on U.S. Navy ranks, aligning with World of Warships' in-game ranking system. Our articles, policies, and procedures are tailored to our identity and publicly available.

LOGO AND PLAQUE DEVELOPMENT STORY

MAZ6R CLAN logo preserves WWII heritage with 'Death Before Dishonor.' Inspired by my father's B-17 squadron tattoo, our logo represents 'Strength and Honor.'

Our MAZ6R CLAN logo has World War II and personal significance. Although the exact number is unknown, the men in my father’s B-17 squadron wore the tattoo (pictured lower left), and the first ‘Aces n’ eights’ B-17 is pictured bottom left. The bomb insignias on the nose of the plane represent thirty successful missions. Shortly before my father passed away, he allowed me to take a picture of his tattoo for posterity. As a child, the phrase ‘Death Before Dishonor’ has been a part of my life.

The MAZ6R CLAN motto is ‘Strength & Honor.’ So, incorporating the ‘Death Before Dishonor’ phrase from my father's B-17 squadron tattoo into the clan logo seemed appropriate.

WOWS displays clan logos or icons in battle next to each member’s call sign and battle insignia. So vibrant color was important.

I was ecstatic when the clan approved the logo and surprised at how quickly WOWS gave their blessing. Thanks to everyone in our clan for their input and for allowing me to bring a part of my father’s WWII history to the clan and in-game. My father would be honored! The MAZ6R CLAN Plaque (pictured right). This unique plaque represents who we are:

‘Strength and honor based on a team fellowship built on mutual trust, respect, and friendship.’
