I first started playing WOWS in 2018 when a coworker recommended the game to me. I hardly ever played until recently, when one day I was asked by a total stranger if I wanted to join a clan that he was a part of. At that time, I had no idea that accepting his invitation would completely change my gameplay and experience with WOWS. This group of people has been truly amazing to play with. I was new to the world of online gaming, especially new to being involved with a group of people that were total strangers to me from all corners of the world.

This was intimidating at first! However, soon after joining their Discord channel, I found out that these teammates are some of the most genuine people that I have ever met. They freely share vast amounts of knowledge and experience throughout this clan, all because we truly enjoy each other's company, want to help each other improve and succeed, and truly enjoy their gameplay experience.

I've been playing WOWs for a good long while now, and in that time I’ve sailed both solo and here and there with a clan. Most of the time, I received an invitation to join a clan, where I would spend months interacting with few or no other players. MAZ6R, or Red Mazda, as I think of it, is 'not' one of those places. We have an active and engaged player base, dedicated to not just doing our own thing but actively seeking to help new players chart their own courses. We try to meet socially each week, as well as run battles in various formats together pretty much daily. So, if you are looking for a place to make your berth, there is no place I would recommend more highly than MAZ6R.

Dear Tom, when I joined the last clan where you were the Deputy Commander, just like my friends that had joined before and after me, I felt like I had found my second family because of the fun environment and the comradery that you created. You were the true leader of that clan! When you left, things were not the same; everything that you had brought to the group disappeared.

So, I was very excited when you started MAZ6R and that so many of my friends and the new ones that I had made in the previous group were joining your new adventure.

When we joined MAZ6R, we may have temporarily lost the bonuses and resources that were within the previous clan, but none of those mattered, without the friends to make it thrive and give the clan a heartbeat.

Anyway, with the way you organized MAZ6Rand with the Deputy Commanders you brought to our group, everything is developing very quickly, and once again we are laughing and having fun! Even our bonuses are returning quickly, and it’s nice the way you get everyone’s input on the naval base and have each of us take an active part in building the base. 

So, in all honesty, thank you guys and gals for sticking with the right person. Thank you once again, Tom, for creating what feels like a second family and for continuing what we all are so passionate about and enjoy by starting MAZ6R! Here is to all of us together as a team, building our new fun group and making it the best clan ever!

During my time playing the game World of Warships, I was with another clan. At the time, all seemed well in that clan. We had three deputy commanders that were fun and worked well together. The first two, Bill and Carol, had been with the clan for a long while and had done a great job building the naval base and organizing. The newest deputy commander, Tom, along with building a website and other marketing things, was building team comradery, and between the three we became a family. Everything was great; I was having fun and making new friends within the clan. So, I decided to bring some of my personal friends into the clan to expand the family that I was now a part of.

Things continued to be fine, and we were having fun for quite some time, and then suddenly, Bill and Carol were gone, and then months later, so was Tom. Everyone was stunned and at a loss as to what was next. All any of us knew was that we were not happy.

However, once I spoke with Tom, I knew things would be okay because he told me that he was going to start his own clan and that he was going to do everything possible to get as many of us back together in what he calls our new adventure!

So, now I am with our new clan, MAZ6R, and I am back with my online family, and I am happy once again. We are just a bunch of fun-loving, happy people who work together to help each other! These people I'm with are amazing, and I'm proud to say I'm part of this family and helping it grow.

Tom never lost touch with Bill and Carol, and they are with us along with our friends, Don and Matt, as deputy commanders. So many of our other friends have already joined or are in the process of joining us. Recently, we were all told that two other great people that had left the old clan before Bill and Carol left will also be joining us in our other new MAZ6R CLAN endeavor, the United Federation of Clans. This new endeavor was born as our group decided that we wanted to help other clans grow along with us, while sharing ideas and information. Plus, we also have some excellent new people that have joined MAZ6R as well.

So, what many others and I thought was the end was just the beginning. Like Tom has said, "When one door closes, another door opens, and it’s almost always a door with superior construction!" Our fun and camaraderie live on in MAZ6R, and all is well, so come join us!

I have been participating in World of Warships for the past six years, and during this time no one asked me to join a clan until two years ago. That clan had three deputy commanders: Bill, Carol, and Tom. Unfortunately, for distinct reasons, Bill and Carol left, and then months later, we lost Tom.

Then Tom started MAZ6R, and now I am in my second clan. I enjoy our clan and my teammates, many of whom came from our old clan! Thomas M. Grange/Mazda6Red2021 is the founder and commander of our new clan, and he is a great person with a lot of compassion for our group. He works hard, night and day, to keep this group in fine shape.

I'm a seventy-nine-year-old Vietnam War combat veteran, 1966-1967, and my unit was the '2/34 Armor Tank Unit,' which was part of ‘The Big Red One 1st Infantry Division,’ which was a great unit! Our M48 tank carried a four-man crew, and during a battle, the tank was penetrated twice by RPG rockets. Unfortunately, I was standing where one of the rockets penetrated, and I took the majority of the shrapnel in my rear quarter. I can joke about it now. For my service, I received a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star.

Today, I continue to play this game with our group of men and women of all ages; many of them are from our previous clan, including my friends Bill and Carol, and some great new teammates. What a fine and fun group of people!

I didn’t do much when I first started playing World of Warships (WOWS) since I was alone and I quickly lost interest. A couple of years later, some friends who played WOWS talked to me about a clan that sounded like a good fit, so I decided to join. The community turned out to be fantastic. I was playing at lower tiers, and to my surprise, everyone willingly joined me at that level to play with the ships I had. It felt amazing—like being part of a big family. Everyone was there to help each other achieve things we might not have thought possible before. I truly appreciated the supportive environment; it boosted my confidence. The people in the clan shared great stories, which made it even more enjoyable. I can't imagine finding a community as uplifting as this anywhere else.
